그들의 마지막 앨범 'Give Us Rest Or (A Requiem Mass In C [The Happiest Of All Keys]),2012' 를 Billboard 200 챠트 2위까지 올리며 화려하게 밴드의 해체를 알렸던 6인조 크리스챤 락(워십)밴드인 David Crowder*Band(데이빗 크라우더 밴드)가  돌아왔습니다!!!!

 

하지만 아쉽게도 재결성은 아니군요^^;;(제가 오디오 아드레날린 때문에 상승한 아드레날린 지수가 떨어지질 않는군요^^;;)

'All This For a King: The Essential Collection' 이란 제목으로 베스트 앨범이 출시되었습니다!

자신의 앨범에서 13곡의 말 그대로 에센스만 뽑아 모았고, 그 중 3곡의 새로운 리믹스 버젼과 1곡(‘This I Know’)의 신곡도 포함되어 있습니다.

리믹스 프로젝트 앨범이었던 'Sunsets And Sushi'와 'B Collision', 여덟번째 도브상을 손에 쥘 수 있게 해줬던 크리스마스 음반인 'Oh For Joy'를 제외하고는 6장의 앨범과 WOW Hits 2012에 실었던 곡을 골고루 담았습니다.

리믹스 앨범에 있는 곡을 포함하는 대신 'Family Force 5', 'Capital Kings' , 'The Digital Age' 등 3팀의 크리스챤 락밴드들을 참여시켜 새로운 버젼의 리믹스 곡을 레코딩하는 열의를 보였고, 어쿠스틱 컨트리포크 곡인 신곡도 넣었으니 이만하면 꽤 공들인 베스트 앨범이 아니었나 싶네요.

참고로 'The Digital Age' 는 David Crowder*Band에서 David Crowder를 제외한 나머지 멤버들이 2012년 결성한 크리스챤 일렉트로닉 락밴드의 이름입니다.

 

  

 

 

2012년 1월 조지아돔에서 있었던 Passion 2012 Conference에서 마지막 연주를 보여줬던 데이빗 크라우더 밴드(David Crowder*Band) 멤버를 한번 정리해볼까요.
